General comments
E. faecalis is meestal amoxicilline-gevoelig, E. faecium is gewoonlijk amoxicilline-ongevoelig.
Indien het een amoxicilline resistente enterokok betreft, start dan met vancomycine volgens dit antibioticaformularium. Voor spiegelcontrole zie "TDM antibiotica protocol t.b.v. arts" op documentbeheer.
