- er moet binnen 12-24 uur een pneumokokken-urineantigeentest verricht worden; indien positief versmal het antibiotische beleid zo gauw patiënt verbeterd is of er een microbiologische diagnose is
- er moet binnen 12-24 uur een Legionella-urineantigeentest verricht worden
Orale uitbehandeling bij onbekende verwekker en geen verdenking op atypische pneumonie: augmentin 625 mg po 3dd. Indien beta-lactam allergie: cefuroximaxetil (Zinnat) 500 mg po 2dd.
Orale uitbehandeling bij onbekende verwekker, maar bij verdenking op atypische pneumonie: moxifloxacine 400 mg po 1dd.
