General comments
Stop zo mogelijk verantwoordelijk antibioticum, en isoleer patiënt..
Dosering vancomycine capsules po 4 x 250 mg; 4 x 125 mg suspensie heeft de voorkeur maar is in Nederland niet beschikbaar, eventueel in overleg met apotheek lokale bereiding.
* Kwetsbare patiëntengroepen waarvoor een recidief CDI ernstig ziekmakende of anderszins ontwrichtende consequenties kan hebben:
1. Patiënten die een intensief medisch traject doorlopen (b.v. hemodialyse, (geplande) chemotherapie).
2. Immuungecompromitteerde personen.
3. Langdurige opname of verblijf in een verpleegtehuis.
